New images are making the rounds on the Internet showing the curved back and the gorgeous 6.1-inch full HD display of the Huawei Ascend Mate online. Rumours on the Internet suggest that the device will have a 1.8GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 13MP camera, and a 4000mAh battery. The thickness of the phablet / tablet is rumored to be 9.9mm.
According to some websites, the phone could debut at a price of roughly $480 (roughly Rs. 26,300), but those details are yet to be confirmed.
In comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note II is a 5.5-inch phone with a Super AMOLED HD display and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM. There’s also 64GB of on board storage for those who love to store a part of their digital lives on their phones.
The anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note III is expected to hit store shelves in 2013, is expected to have a whopping 6.3-inch display. Other details of the Note III are still unclear, but we can expect to see the device in action at either CES 2013 or MWC 2013.
Huawei’s Ascend G330 smartphone recently appeared for sale online in India for Rs. 10,990. The Ascend G330 sports a 4-inch display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A5 processor and Adreno 203 graphics (Qualcomm MSM8225 Snapdragon chipset).
