Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks has posted renders of the upcoming Moto X4 and tips the device to be unveiled on August 24

Renders of the upcoming Motorola flagship phone have been posted by Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks. He tips the device to be called the Moto X4, and the renders show a large circular camera housing at the back along with a home button located just below the display. There also appears to be connector at the back of the device, which suggests that the device may be offered with some type of docking accessories. In addition, Hemmerstoffer has tipped the device to be unveiled on August 24.

The renders of the Moto X4 match up with the image of the device that was leaked back in December last year. Those images also suggested that the upcoming device may have an all metal build. The company was expected to launch the next generation Moto X on June 9 as Lenovo’s CEO, Yang Yuanqing, had said that they were going to launch something “exciting” on that day. The upcoming Motorola flagship is tipped to come with a 5-inch display and may be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with 4GB of RAM. It is also expected to run Android Marshmallow v6.0.1.

In additon, Motorola is expected to launch the Moto G4 on May 17. The phone is expected to be available in a standard and a ‘Plus’ variant, and both have been tipped to offer 5.5-inch displays, along with 16GB of inbuilt storage. In addition, the standard G4 might have a 13MP camera, while the G4 Plus may have a 16MP camera.
