9to5 Mac, iLounge, and MacStories have all speculated that a new iPad will be out soon, possibly January 2011, and this time, it will feature the Retina Display of the iPhone 4 that’s known for its amazing pixel density. This rumour also holds that the new iPad will be a smaller, 7-inch version of the current 10-inch iPad, and be called the iPad Mini. Guesses at what the resolution will be range from 1500×1920 to 2048×1536!
Other speculation holds that the 5th generation of the iPhone, the iPhone 5, will also hit shelves at around the same time as the iPad Mini, while all new iPod Touch, iPod Nano, and iPod Shuffle devices are expected earlier, as early as September this year. While there is not too much evidence too support many of these claims, we’ve all been expected a new version of the iPad sometime soon, one that incorporates some of the new features the iPhone 4 brought, including dual cameras and possibly even stylus support, apart from the Retina Display. We’ll just have to wait and see though…
