Mystery device HTC One M8t shows up on AnTuTu benchmark
Nothing is known about this device from HTC, except its name. It may be the Snapdragon 805 powered flagship from the company though.
An unknown device by the name of HTC One M8t has shown up on the popular AnTuTu benchmark app. The device ranks just above the new Moto X, with a benchmark score of above 42,900. Nothing else is known about the device right now though. We found the name while conducting a benchmark test on the Moto X (2nd Gen).
This could be the first time we have seen anything of a Snapdragon 805 powered HTC One smartphone. The company is due a device with this chipset, considering that its competitors are also moving to the newer and more powerful chipset. That said, HTC isn't known to bring more than one flagship product in a year. In addition, the company has already brought out the HTC One (M8) and HTC One (E8) smartphones this year. Both of these devices rank in the high end segment with good performance and top of the line specifications.
While nothing can be said about the device at the moment, it would be interesting to see HTC working with a Snapdragon 805 chipset. The company has delivered high performance smartphones in the future, like the HTC One and M8, which have both impressed us.
