MTS, the telecom brand of Sistema-Shyam Teleservices (SSTL), has announced a new tariff plan, which allows its subscribers to make all local (to MTS or any other network), STD (to MTS or any other network), Roaming and ISD calls (US and Canada) at flat 30p per minute.
MTS’ new tariff plan, also being known as “Flat 30p for everything”, covers text messages and data usages as well. Subscribers are charged 30p for a SMS, while data usage is priced at 30p/MB.
According to MTS India’s Chief Marketing and Sales Officer Leonid Musatov, the new tariff plan is aimed at simplifying the mobile tariffs and provide more convenience to its over 16 million subscribers in the country.
MTS’ latest proposition can be availed by both new and existing MTS customers via a recharge voucher priced between Rs. 50 to Rs. 100.
MTS’ new Flat 30p for everything offer
Besides a new tariff plan, MTS has also announced a new scheme for Facebook users. The scheme enables users to access Facebook for 30 days through MTS Planet on entry level phones such as MTS Striker C121, MTS Striker C122 and MTS Striker F121.
The offer, branded as the “First in the industry”, can be availed by both new and existing MTS customers through a recharge voucher priced between Rs. 50 to Rs. 100.
“These unique and aggressive offers have been made available nationally to the customers through a robust network of over 300,000 retailers,” says MTS in a release.
The CDMA mobile and data service provider, MTS, had recently announced slashing its data plan prices by up to 60 percent in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR).
