MTS launches new tariff plans for users in Maharashtra and Goa

MTS, telecom brand of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), has slashed its data tariff prices and introduced new tariff plans for its MBlaze customers in Maharashtra and Goa circles.

MTS, which boasts of over 16 million users across the country, has launched new data plans ranging from Rs. 96 to Rs. 1,499. The Rs. 96 traiff plan offers 1GB of data with validity of one day. The plan earlier offered 0.5 GB only. There is also a Rs. 248 pack, which offers 1GB of data, earlier it offered 350MB data.

MTS has also come up with a Rs. 490 plan, which offers 3GB of data with validity of one month. For Rs. 698, users can avail 4GB of data for 60 days, while Rs. 998 plan now offers 6GB of data with validity of 90 days. With Rs. 1,499 plan, users can avail 15GB of data for three months.

 “We have specially designed these tariffs to provide our data customers with a world class mobile internet experience at the most affordable price backed by increased usage benefits,” Sandeep Marwaha, Chief Operating Officer, Maharashtra and Goa Circle, MTS India says in a release.

MTS’ new plans for Goa and Maharashtra circles come days after the operator announced a “Flat 30p for everything” plan that covers text messages and data usages as well. Subscribers are charged 30p for a SMS, while data usage is priced at 30p/MB. To know more, read our previous coverage.
