Motorola has been rumoured to launch a new flagship phone called the Motorola Edge 40 Pro. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro is going to be known as Motorola Edge+ in the US, reportedly. The phone is going to match the specifications of the recently launched flagship phone in China, the Moto X40. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro looks to be the successor of the Motorola Edge 30 Pro which was launched in February last year. Rumours have surfaced on the internet of the device's specifications, price details and colour options.
A report by Appuals has stated that the Motorola Edge 40 Pro is going to feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with 165Hz refresh rate support.
The phone is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and it will launch with only one storage option which is 12GB/256GB. It is likely to run on the Android 13-based MyUI 5.0 and might have an 11-layer cooling system.
The phone could sport a triple camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary as well as a 60-megapixel front-facing camera placed in a centrally-aligned hole-punch slot.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro could also come with a 4600mAh battery with 125-watt fast charging support. It could also offer 15W wireless charging and 15W reverse charging.
The Motorola Edge 40 Pro, according to the report, is going to launch in Europe worth EUR 850 which is ₹75,000 approximately in India.
