Though there hasn't been any formal announcement of the launch date, there are tips and leaks which have suggested the launch of three Motorola phones very soon. These smartphones include Motorola Razr Pro, Motorola Razr Lite and Motorola Edge 40.
The Motorola Edge 40 first appeared on Geekbench and now has appeared on certification websites FCC and TDRA. The TDRA confirmed the marketing name of the phone and the model number. Whereas, FCC revealed that there are two models for the Motorola Edge 40.
As for the upcoming foldable Motorola phones, Razr Pro and Razr Lite have been in talks for quite some time now. According to tipster Max Jambor the two foldable phones will have a global launch on June 1st in Madrid, Spain.
Now let's look at the expected specifications of all the three phones.
Where previous reports claimed MediaTek Dimensity 8020 SoC, latest leaks suggest MediaTek Dimensity 1100 SoC will be powering the Motorola Edge 40. As for security purposes the smartphone is expected to be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Motorola Edge 40 could feature a 6.55 inch FHD+ pOLED display, with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ and 1200 nits peak brightness. The phone will have connectivity options of 5G, 4G, LTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Now bringing the camera into account, the smartphone is likely to flaunt a dual lens rear camera. The expected setup includes a 50MP primary camera with OIS and f/1.5, accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens with 120° field of view. As for the front camera, there could be a 32MP snapper.
The Razr Pro could have a huge outer display taking up almost half of the exterior panel.
This smartphone too will feature a dual lens rear camera, but rumours say that it can be an under-display camera instead of the in-trend punch-hole. Apart from this, much about the specifications haven't been revealed yet.
The Razr Lite could also adorn a clamshell design but with a small outer display that would be enough to display notification status.
As for the camera, it is said to also feature a dual rear camera placed just next to the cover display. As for the inner display, it will have a cutout for the front camera. Besides that, there haven't been any more leaks or rumours about its specifications.
Now, we will have to wait for more leaks or learn details from the launch event.
