Motorola Razr 50 India launch teased: Expected specs and more

Motorola has started teasing the India launch of the Motorola Razr 50 phone.

The Motorola Razr 50 is expected to sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED LTPO display.

It might be powered by the Dimensity 7300X chipset.

Motorola launched the Motorola Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra foldable smartphones in June in China. In July, the Razr 50 Ultra was released in other markets, including India. Now, Motorola has started teasing the India launch of the standard Razr 50 handset.

On X (formerly Twitter), Motorola shared the teaser video of the Razr 50 with the caption “Keep a look out for the latest smartphone with a massive external display. We bet you’re going to love this.” While the company has not directly revealed the name of the phone, it used the hashtag “#MotorolaRazr50”, hinting at the standard Motorola Razr 50 India launch.

Unfortunately, the company has not revealed the launch date or any specification of the Motorola Razr 50 smartphone.

Motorola Razr 50: Expected Specs

As the Motorola Razr 50 already made its debut in China, we can get a fair idea of what to expect from this foldable phone.

The Motorola Razr 50 is expected to sport a 6.9-inch AMOLED LTPO display, featuring a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. The phone might also feature a 3.6-inch secondary display with a resolution of 1056 x 1066 pixels, safeguarded by Gorilla Glass Victus.

Under the hood, the Razr 50 is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7300X chipset, paired with 12 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The upcoming foldable might be supported by a 4,200mAh battery with 30W fast charging. For photography, this device will likely offer a 32MP front camera and a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation and a 13MP ultrawide lens.
