The season of foldable smartphones is here, and Motorola has taken the first mover’s advantage. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is here just a few days ahead of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked. Last year, Motorola gave good competition to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 with its Razr 40 Ultra. This year, we expect even more from both brands. However, it seems like Motorola has done its part by offering some major upgrades with the Razr 50 Ultra. Now the question is, can the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 beat it? Let’s check this out with all the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s rumours surfacing online.
Let’s talk about their outer displays first. The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is equipped with a larger 4-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272 x 1080 pixels. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 10-bit color, and up to a 165Hz refresh rate. This display has 2400 nits of peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to have a 3.6-inch IPS LCD display, which is already a bummer. However, it might feature Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for protection.
Coming to their performance, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will most likely be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, paired with 12GB RAM. Comparatively, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra has a less powerful processor, running on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, which is also paired with up to 12GB RAM.
For photography, the Razr 50 Ultra uses a dual camera setup, featuring a 50-megapixel main camera and a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with up to 2x optical zoom. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 is also rumored to have a 50-megapixel main camera. Apart from this, we don’t know anything else about the Galaxy Z Flip 6’s camera.
Lastly, the battery. The Razr 50 Ultra packs a 4000mAh battery, and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 is rumored to have the same. There are no details on the latter one’s charging, but the Razr 50 Ultra supports 45-watt fast charging, 15-watt wireless charging, and 5-watt reverse wired charging.
So, these are some Galaxy Z Flip 6 leaks circulating on the internet. However, one should also note that these are just leaks, which can be incorrect.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 will launch during the Galaxy Unpacked event, which means that in just six days, the Razr 50 Ultra will have its true competitor. Speaking of this comparison, I think the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is a clear winner here, offering a better outer display, camera, and most likely better fast charging… But our final verdict will come based on true specs information and not leaks. So, till then, stay tuned!
