The Moto Care initiative had been announced by Motorola a few months ago, alongside Moto Care on Wheels.
Motorola’s recently announced Moto Care centers are now official in India. The company has launched the first of these in Jayanagar, Bangalore. The company had earlier talked about opening these service cum experience centres all over the country.
The Moto Care centers will serve as a walk-in service support location for Motorola customers. In addition, prospective buyers can experience products like the Moto G, Moto X (2nd Gen), Moto Turbo, Moto E and Moto 360 and other Motorola products at these centers. However, you will still have to buy a Motorola phone online, from Flipkart.
Motorola has been talking about improving its customer support in India for a few months now. The company already has service centers across the country and these new centers will add to those. In addition, Motorola also has a Moto Care on Wheels pilot project running in the country. Under this, the company has Moto vans, which will serve as doorstep service support center for customers, till after 30 days of purchase.
Motorola recently launched the new version of its Moto E in India, along with the Moto Turbo, flagship model. The company has had a lot of success in the country with the Moto G and Moto E (1st Gen) smartphones. In fact, India had a big role to play in the Moto G (1st Gen) becoming Motorola’s best selling smartphone.
