Motorola One Action to be launched in India soon, press renders leaked
HIGHLIGHTS

Motorola One Action may be lunched in India soon.

Alleged press renders of the phone have leaked.

The handset is touted to have a punch-hole display and a triple rear camera setup.

Lenovo-owned Motorola will soon be expanding its Android One smartphone portfolio by launching the Motorola One Action in India, industry sources have confirmed to Digit.in. While our sources were generous enough to disclose this information, they didn’t mention the exact timeline of the launch of the device. This comes at a time when the alleged press render of the phone has been leaked.

Shared by a tipster on Twitter, the official-looking renders show the device's front panel and two colour variants: white and blue/green. On the front, the phone is seen sporting a punch-hole display with the opening for the camera on the top left corner of the display. The bezel on the top and the chin on the display are thicker than the bezels on the sides. The image also shows the phone having a power button and volume rocker on the right edge.

On the back, the phone is seen sporting a triple camera setup, which is vertically aligned on the top right corner. Below the camera, there is an LED flash. The batwing logo in the centre of the back panel is likely to house the fingerprint sensor, and on the bottom is the Android One branding. Reportedly, the back panel could be made of plastic, and may have a rugged surface.

While the specs of the phone are not known, the phone will reportedly sport a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and the punch hole will house a 12.6MP camera. Two of the three shooters on the back are said to have a 12.6MP sensor, including the main one. One of the three snappers is touted to be an ultra-wide lens with a 117-degree field-of-view. There is no info on the third sensor.

Just like the Motorola One Vision (Review), the Motorola One Action may also be powered by a Samsung chipset. Apparently, the company will incorporate the Exynos 9609 chipset at the heart of the device, which also powers the Motorola One Vision launched earlier. The phone is speculated to offer in three RAM/storage versions: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 4GB/128GB. A 3500mAh battery is said to power the device and the software could be Android 9 Pie.
