Motorola is all set to launch its new flagship smartphone – dubbed as the X 1. And as per the tradition, rumours and leaks have started to hit the web ahead of the official announcement. Latest information says the Moto X successor will be available with more than 20 backplate options.
According to tipster @evleaks, the new Motorola flagship will be offered with a wide range of colour and finish options, including wood and leather. It's notable the current flagship, Moto X, is available in walnut, bamboo, ebony, and teak wood finishes.
The Moto X 1, however, will come with black, red, gray, and blue leather back panel options. Right now, it's not clear whether the Moto X 1 will have faux finish like the recent Samsung flagships or have genuine leather.

Interestingly, there's no information on the specifications of the smartphone. There's no word on the release date of the Moto X 1 either. However, we expect the announcement pretty soon. It will be interesting to see if Motorola launches the new flagship alongside its new Android Wear-powered smartwatch, the Moto 360.
