Motorola Moto E7 has officially launched as the affordable phone in the company’s E-series lineup. The Moto E7 Plus was launched in September in India priced at Rs 9,499 and the E7 is its toned-down version. The Moto E7 goes more affordable but loses out on the Snapdragon processor and larger battery from the E7 Plus.
“At Motorola, we know you deserve access to the most up-to-date features, like an incredible camera system that delivers gorgeous results, no matter what your budget is. That’s why we’re introducing moto e7, to deliver the outstanding camera and display features and back them up with impressive battery life and performance for a great overall mobile experience,” the company said in a blog post.
The Moto E7 has a dual-camera setup on the back and looks familiar to the E7 Plus as it also has a squircle camera module in the centre along with the batwing logo. Let’s take a brief look at the price and specifications of the Moto E7.
Moto E7 specifications and price
The Moto E7 features a 6.5-inch display with an HD+ (1600 x 720 pixels) resolution display. The screen has a waterdrop notch cutout on top for the selfie camera and this gives the display a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone has a water-repellent coating but is not officially IP-certified. It is made of plastic considering the price range and measures 8.9 millimetres in thickness and weighs 180 grams.
Motorola Moto E7 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G25 processor that has an octa-core CPU and PowerVR GE8320 graphics. This is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage with an option to expand the storage further by using microSD card.
The E7 has a dual-camera setup on the back that consists of a 48MP primary camera along with a 2MP macro camera. On the front, there is a 5MP selfie camera housed within the waterdrop notch cutout.
The ‘batwing’ logo on the back doubles up as a fingerprint reader and the Moto E7 packs a 4,000mAh battery that offers 10W charging speeds.
The Moto E7 is priced at EUR 119 for the European countries and will be available in select Latin America, the Middle East and Asia countries in the coming weeks. There’s no official word on the India launch of the Moto E7 yet.
