Motorola Edge 40 Neo with 144Hz display, 32MP selfie camera to launch in India on Sept 21

Motorola rolled out the Edge 40 in India in May. Now the brand is looking to expand its Edge 40 lineup in the country. Motorola has launched the Edge 40 Neo in the global market and now is aiming to launch the smartphone in India as well. In the EMEA region, Motorola launched the Edge 40 Neo at a price of €399. In India, the brand has promised to bring this smartphone on September 21. Additionally, Motorola is also promoting its new Edge 40 Neo as the “Segment’s 1st 144Hz 10-bit Curved Display.”
As the smartphone is already out in the EMEA region, we have the specifications. However, Motorola has also lifted the Edge 40 Neo on the company’s official website for India. Here are the specifications:

Starting with the design, for Moto Edge 40 Neo as well, the company has featured the Pantone-styled colour options. It will be rolled out in three colour options that are Pantone Black Beauty, Pantone Soothing Sea, and Pantone Caneel Bay. It has a punch-hole cutout at the front and a curved display as well. It has a single LED flash, whereas, the Edge 40 had two. It is 7.79mm thin, weighs 165 grams, and features an IP68 rating.
The black colour variant features an acrylic back panel. On the other hand, the rest of the two models feature a vegan leather back panel.
The Motorola Edge 40 Neo is equipped with a 6.55-inch pOLED curved display with an FHD+ resolution. The display of the smartphone also supports 10-bit colours, HDR10+, and 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on Android 13 operating system.

It is packed with the MediaTek Dimensity 7020 processor coupled with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. A 5000mAh battery powers the Edge 40 Neo, featuring up to 68-watt fast charging support.
Speaking of the cameras, it boasts a dual camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel OIS main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It sports a 32-megapixel selfie shooter at the front.
