Moto X Style to launch in India on October 8
The smartphone is one of the two Moto X variants launched by Motorola earlier this year. It sports a 5.7-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 808 SoC, and 3GB of RAM.
Motorola is set to release the Moto X Style in India on October 8. Indian e-commerce giant Flipkart has set up a dedicated page with a teaser showing the launch date of the smartphone. The Moto X Style is one of the two variants of the Moto X smartphone launched by Motorola earlier this year, with Moto X Play being the other. Motorola India started teasing the India launch of the Moto X Style last week, via a tweet.

The Moto X Style is the higher-specced variant, as compared to the Moto X Play. The Style sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD display (2560x1440p). The phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a 21MP rear shooter, and 5MP front shooter. Storage-wise, it gives the choice of choosing 16GB, 32GB and 64GB, with each variant further supporting storage expansion upto 128GB via a microSD card. The phone has a battery of 3000mAh along with Turbo-charging support. As claimed by Motorola, turbo-charging will charge your phone up to 34% in 15 minutes. Motorola launched the device for $399 (approx. Rs. 26,047) at its global launch, and it might be priced around the 30k mark in India. The phone will be competing with the newly-launched Nexus smartphones, the LG Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P, which are expected to launch in India between October 10 and 14.
Last month, Motorola launched its Moto X Play smartphone in India. The device has 5.5-inch Full HD display. It runs on an octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz, along with 2GB of RAM. The phone has a 21MP rear camera, and a 5MP front camera. It has a 3630mAh battery. The phone is available in two variants: 16GB and 32GB, priced at Rs. 18,499 and Rs. 19,999 respectively. Recently, Motorola also announced that its phones will be available via offline stores, as well as Amazon and Snapdeal.
