Motorola is gearing up to launch a new Moto G smartphone in India. The company has confirmed on X (formerly known as Twitter) that it will launch the Moto G85 5G smartphone in the country on July 10th. There is also a dedicated microsite on Flipkart for the Moto G85 5G launch which reveals key specifications of this upcoming handset.
The Moto G series has always been known for offering impressive features at competitive prices, and this time too the Moto G85 5G is expected to continue this tradition. Let’s take a look at the confirmed specifications and features of the upcoming Moto G85 5G smartphone.
The upcoming Moto G85 5G will sport a 6.7-inch 3D curved pOLED display with 1600nits of brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, SGC eye protection and 10-bit billion colour support. For photography, it will house a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor. On the front, there will be a 32MP selfie shooter.

The Moto G85 5G smartphone will be equipped with the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor. Furthermore, it will pack a 5000mAh battery with 33W charging support. According to the company, this smartphone will offer 90 hours of music playback, 38 hours of talktime, and 22 hours of video playback.
The handset will come with up to 12GB RAM and up to 256GB in-built storage. It will also be available in an 8GB+128GB storage option. The handset will run on Android 14, with two years of assured OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
Now, let’s talk about the design. The Moto G85 5G will feature a vegan Leather design. It will weigh 172 grams and will be 7.59mm thick. This smartphone will come in three colour options: Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green.
