Moto G64 5G to launch in India on April 16: Dimensity 7025 SoC, 6000mAh battery & more confirmed

Earlier this month, Motorola launched the Moto Edge 50 Pro smartphone in India which features a 6.7-inch pOLED display, a triple rear camera setup, and is equipped with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor. Now, the company is gearing up to launch another handset in the country. Motorola has announced that it will launch the Moto G64 5G in India next week. The company has also confirmed key specifications of the upcoming Moto G64 5G smartphone including processor, battery and more.

Moto G64 5G: Confirmed details

The Moto G64 5G will launch in India on April 16th at 12 PM. The upcoming device will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 SoC.

The Moto G64 5G will pack a 6000mAh battery with 33W charging support.

The upcoming Moto G64 5G will feature a 6.5-inch display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the Moto G64 5G will house a 50MP primary camera, and will feature a 16MP selfie shooter.

This handset is confirmed to come in two variants: 12GB+256GB and 8GB+128GB.

The Moto G64 5G weighs 192grams and measures 8.89mm in thickness. The upcoming Moto G64 5G device will operate on the Android 14 OS out of the box. It will receive “assured upgrade” to Android 15 and three years of security updates.

Now, let’s talk about the colours. The Moto G64 5G will be available in three colour options: Blue, Green and Purple.

The upcoming Moto G64 5G will feature a rectangular camera module in the top left corner of the rear panel. The camera module houses two camera sensors and an LED flash unit.
