Moto G6 Plus with Snapdragon 630, 6GB RAM launched at Rs 22,499

Lenovo has launched its latest Moto G6 Plus smartphone in India. The company was teasing the device via its social media channels from a few days, although we already know what design and hardware it packs as it was unveiled globally back in April alongside the Moto G6 Play and the standard G6. The new smartphone features an 18:9 display aspect ratio without a notch and it packs a more powerful processor and more memory than the Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 (review). 

Moto G6 Plus Specifications

The Moto G6 Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card. It features a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The smartphone runs on near stock version of the Android 8.0 Oreo and comes with a fingerprint scanner, along with the Face Unlock feature. 

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes equipped with a 12MP+5MP rear camera setup with f/1.7 aperture lens and Dual Pixel autofocus support. The main camera supports Google Lens, portrait mode shots, face filter, up to 4K ultra HD video capture, time lapse and slow motion video. On the front is an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and an 80-degree lens field of view. The device is backed by a 3200mAh battery and supports the company’s TurboPower fast charging technology. It sports a Type-C USB port and does not skip on the 3.5mm audio jack. 

Moto G6 Plus Price and Availability

The Moto G6 Plus has been announced in a 6GB RAM/64GB internal storage variant, which is priced at Rs 22,499 in India. The smartphone is already available for sale online via Amazon and offline via the company’s retail stores. There are no launch offers with the device but those who purchase it via Amazon can avail a no-cost EMI option, which is available on all major credit cards.
