Moto G5 leak hints at 5-inch display, Snapdragon 430 SoC

Moto G5 and G5 Plus are expected to be announced at MWC next month

Motorola and its parent company, Lenovo are expected to announce Moto G5 and G5 Plus at Mobile World Congress next month. Images purpoted to be of the two devices were posted online a while ago, while the G5 was spotted on FCC's certification website. 

Now, a Brazilian blog claims to have published the complete specifications of the upcoming smartphone. According to TecnoBlog.net, the regional version of Moto G5 comes with model number XT1672. The handset reportedly sports a smaller 5-inch full HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 processor. The device is tipped to come with 2GB RAM, 32GB storage and option to expand storage via microSD card slot. In comparison, Moto G5 Plus is rumoured to offer a Snapdragon 625 SoC and 4GB RAM.

The leak also suggests that Moto G5 will offer 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The battery capacity is rated at 2800mAh rather than the previously reported 3000mAh.
