Lenovo Moto has officially announced the Moto G5 Plus exclusively on Flipkart. The smartphone is priced at Rs 14,999 for the 3GB RAM, 16GB storage variant and Rs 16,999 for the 4GB RAM, 32GB storage model. The handset will go on sale starting 11:59 PM tonight.
Moto G5 Plus was announced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last month and it is the first smartphone in the Moto G series to feature metal unibody design. The handset features a 5.2-inch full HD display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The smartphone also supports expandable storage up to 256GB via dedicated memory card slot.
Moto G5 Plus' biggest differentiator is its rear camera, which the company claims is the best in its class. The G5 Plus sports a 12MP rear camera with dual-pixel autofocus and f/1.7 aperture. It also features a 5MP wide angle selfie camera. Moto G5 Plus houses a 3000mAh battery and supports company's TurboCharge feature.
The G5 Plus runs Android 7.0 Nougat with useful customisation in the form of Moto Actions. The smartphone features a front-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports Google Assistant.
