Lenovo has launched Moto G5 exclusively on Amazon India at Rs 11,999. The smartphone will be available starting 11.59PM tonight in grey and gold colour options. Moto G5 comes preloaded with Amazon, Prime Video and Kindle apps and the e-commerce giant is offering Rs 1,000 cashback for those buying G5 with Amazon Pay balance. The launch offers include Rs 1,000 cashback on HDFC Bank credit card and free 16GB Sandisk microSD card.
To recall, Moto G5 was launched alongside Moto G5 Plus at Mobile World Congress in February. The smartphone features a 5-inch full HD display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 430 processor. The Moto G5 features unibody metal design similar to its larger sibling G5 Plus and will be available in 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant. On the camera front, Moto G5 sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus and LED flash. The selfie camera is a 5MP one with wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. While Moto G5 Plus offers one of the best camera in its price range, the G5 is cutting on cost by opting for a different camera setup.
Moto G5 runs Android 7.0 Nougat with customisations like Moto Actions and Moto Display. With Moto Actions, G5 users can simply twist their device for quick capture or flick for activating the flashlight. Moto Actions can be customised for six different shortcuts. Moto G5 comes with a 2800mAh battery and supports turbo charging. The smartphone will compete with Xiaomi's best-selling Redmi Note 4 in the sub-Rs 12,000 price segment.
