The Moto G4 Plus’ younger brother is almost here.

Last month, Motorola unveiled two variants of the Moto G4 smartphone in India. While one of the variants, the Moto G4 Plus, is available Amazon, the company said that the standard Moto G4 would be launched a month later. Motorola has now revealed via Twitter that the phone will sell from June 22.

The Moto G4 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC, with 2GB of RAM. It offers 16GB of storage and runs Android Marshmallow v6.0.1. The device is equipped with a 3000mAh battery with support for Turbo Charging. At the back is a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front camera.

The price of the Moto G4 is still not known and it would be interesting to see what it will be. The G4 Plus isn't that much different from the standard Moto G4 except for the fingerprint sensor and the 16MP rear camera with laser autofocus. The 2GB RAM/16GB storage variant of the Moto G4 Plus is priced at Rs. 13,499 and the Moto G4 will most likely cost less than that. This puts it up against some powerful devices, such as the LeEco Le 2, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and the Meizu M3 Note.
