A Google Play edition of Motorola’s budget-friendly Moto G as been quietly launched for purchase in the United States for $179 for the 8GB version and $199 for the 16GB version.
Motorola's budget friendly Moto G gets a Google Play edition and is available for purchase in the United States. The stock Android Moto G is priced at $179 for the 8GB version and $199 for the 16GB version.
Moto G's Google Play edition is compatible with the HSPA bands of AT&T in the U.S. Though LTE connectivity is not available, it should not be a factor in this price range.
As of now there is no information with regards to its international availability of the Moto G Google Play edition.
At an event earlier this month, Motorola revealed it plans to launch the Moto G in the US early 2014. Though it seems now the company couldn't resist and has made the smartphone available for purchase in the US.
There were reports that the smartphone will be launched in India early January, but as of now we have no information regarding its price and availability in India. Moto G has all the ingredients of an excellent, affordable Android phone.
