Moto G's variant, the Moto G Forte has been listed on the company's Mexico site. The smartphone comes with identical specifications as the Moto G, except it packs a Motorola rugged Grip Shell out-of-the-box. As of now, there is no word on the availability and pricing of the device.
The Motorola Moto G Forte has a 4.5-inch HD 'edge-to-edge' display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 329ppi. It features a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection against scratches. The smartphone has a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.4 Kit Kat out of the box.
The Moto G Forte comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of inbuilt storage. It has a 5 MP rear camera along with an LED flash as well as a 1.3 MP front camera with HD (720p) video recording. The company claims that the phone delivers up to 24 hours of mixed usage with its 2070mAh battery .
After the successful launch of Moto G in February, Motorola recently launched the Moto X exclusively via Flipkart in India. The smartphone is available for Rs 23,999 on the e-commerce site. The Motorola Moto X has a 4.7 inch touchscreen, with 16 M colors and 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It has 2GB RAM and comes in 16/32 GB variants. It has a 10 MP auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera. It runs on Android v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS upgradable to v4.4 (KitKat).
