The Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G LTE version will be available for pre-order through the Flipkart app on October 15 for Rs. 8,999. The phone is made available as part of the Flipkart Big Billion Day sale. The phone will be available for pre-order till stocks last.
The Moto G (2nd Gen) was launched in India in September last year. The device comes with a 5-inch HD display that is protected with Corning Gorilla 3. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. At the back of the phone is an 8MP primary camera while at the front is a 2MP camera. The Moto G (2nd Gen) also comes with a 2070mAh battery. The phone was launched with Android Kitkat and started receiving the Android Lollipop update in January this year.
Motorola had launched the third generation of the Moto G in July. The phone comes with a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a Snapdragon 410 processor. the phone is available in two variants, one with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage and another with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Both variants of the Moto G (3rd Gen) come with a microSD card slot for increasing its storage.
Motorola also launched the Moto X Play last month followed by the Moto X Style a few days ago. The Moto X Play comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and runs Android Lollipop v5.1.1. It is powered by a 1.7GHz Snapdragon 615 SoC with 2GB of RAM. It also comes with a 21MP camera at the back along with a 5MP camera in front. The Moto X Play also comes with a 3630mAh battery which motorola claims will be able to give users 30 hours of use between charges. The Moto X Style comes with a slightly larger 5.7-inch QHD display. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 with 3GB of RAM. Like the Moto X Play, the Style also comes with a 21MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera.
