If you were planning to buy the 16GB version of the Moto G through Flipkart, then you will have to wait for another 10-20 days. The 16GB model is currently out of stock on the e-commerce site, which now gives a 10-20 day shipping estimate. However, interested customers can still book the smartphone on Flipkart.
Flipkart co-founder and CEO Sachin Bansal reportedly blamed the marginal price difference between the 8GB and 16GB versions for the depletion of stocks of the 16GB version.
Flipkart had started selling the smartphone on February 6 midnight, but sold out the 16GB model in just 15 minutes. The e-commerce site restored the stocks at noon on the same day, but in almost an hour. It's notable the 16GB version of the Moto G is priced at Rs 13,999 while the 8GB version is priced at Rs 12,499.
Moto G 16GB up for booking on Flipkart
It's notable the Moto G is currently exclusively available via Flipkart. However, we are expecting the smartphone to appear on other e-commerce sites very soon. Snapdeal, which already had listed the smartphone, currently shows the Moto G out of stock.
