Motorola claims that the display on the Moto Edge 50 Pro is the world’s first true colour one.
And this time, these claims have been validated by Pantone.
The Moto Edge 50 Pro will feature a 144Hz 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution.
Motorola is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming mid-range flagship smartphone, the Moto Edge 50 Pro. The new smartphone will be unveiled on 3rd April at noon. Ahead of the launch, the brand is creating a lot of buzz, and fans are highly anticipating the device. As is the case with every other device, a lot of information about the possible specs is surfacing on the web. However, the brand itself has confirmed some features, like the display colors. Motorola claims that the display on the Moto Edge 50 Pro is the world’s first true color one. It has similar claims for the camera too. This time, these claims have been validated by Pantone.

Pantone validated display & camera colours
For the uninitiated, Pantone is the universal language of colour that is used by designers, brands, and manufacturers. Pantone has also partnered with Motorola previously for its rear panels. This time it has validated that both the camera and display on the Moto Edge 50 Pro offer the truest colours yet. Apart from the display and camera, it will come in three Pantone colours: black, purple, and white. And the rear panel will have a silicone vegan leather finish.
Moto Edge 50 Pro: Display & Performance
The Moto Edge 50 Pro will feature a 6.7-inch pOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. For a better viewing experience, it can also pack SGS Eye Protection technology which reduces blue light emissions along with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone can run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip.
Moto Edge 50 Pro: Camera
For cameras, we might get to see a triple camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor, a 13MP ultrawide sensor with macro capabilities, and a telephoto lens with OIS and 30x hybrid zoom. There can also be a 50MP selfie shooter in the front.

Moto Edge 50 Pro: Battery
Lastly, the Moto Edge 50 Pro can come with 125W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W wireless power-sharing support.
Price point
Tipster Paras Guglani reveals that the Edge 50 Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage can be priced at around €864. And in India, it could come at a price of around Rs 44,999.
