Moto E3 spotted on Zauba, launching in India soon?
As per the listing on Zauba, the unit price of the phone is Rs. 5,446, but the final price of the phone will most likely change.
Motorola unveiled the third generation of its budget smartphone, the Moto E, last month and now the company might be preparing to launch the device in India soon. The device was recently spotted on Indian import listing site, Zauba, hinting that the phone is about to be launched in the country soon. As per the listing, Motorola phones with model number XT1706 (which is the model number of the Moto E3) were imported to the country and the price of each unit Rs. 5,446. However, this isn’t the final price of the phone and will most likely change. To recall, the Moto E3 sports a 5-inch HD display is powered by a quad-core processor. The device is equipped with a 2800mAh battery and runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0. The phone also comes with an 8MP rear and 5MP front camera.
Motorola will most likely price the Moto E3 below the Rs. 10k mark, placing it in stiff competition from devices made by Chinese manufacturers like Xiaomi, Coolpad and Meizu, which bring devices with impressive specifications in that price bracket. However, Motorola’s smartphones are usually among the first to receive Android updates, and that might give it an edge over the competition.
