The budget smartphone from Moto will feature an HD display for the first time.

The Moto E3 may be launched in India on September 19, as per new rumours. The Moto E3 is the least expensive smartphone from Moto, and was first announced back in July 2016 in UK. However, the company has been a little hush-hush about its launch in other countries. The Moto E3 was priced in the UK at £99 (Rs. 8,900 approximately), and we expect similar or lower pricing in India for it.

The Moto E3 is powered by a quad-core 1GHz processor. Moto doesn't specify which processor the E3 uses, but we can presume that it employs Qualcomm SoC like it has in previous editions. There is 1GB of RAM on the phone and 8GB of on-board storage. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. The company claims that the 2800mAh battery on the phone can easily last for a day. The screen has been significantly upgraded from a 4.5-inch qHD panel to a 5-inch HD panel.

Moto has also confirmed that the Moto Z will be coming to India in October, which will serve as the flagship smartphone for the company. The Moto Z and Z Force smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoCs, and pack 4GB RAM. The highlight of the phones are their modular attachments, called Moto Mods. Motorola has add-ons that can add a projector, extra battery, speakers and an additional camera, as per requirements.
