Motorola's latest Moto E 3G version will be available in India for Rs. 6,999. The company revealed the pricing in one of its video teasers. There's no information on availability and price of the LTE version of the phone.
The previous one version of Moto E was launched in India at a similar price. The Moto E 2015 version comes with a few upgrades over the predecessor such as larger display and battery. It runs on a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core SoC along with 1GB of RAM. The display resolution is same qHD, but is slightly bigger, 4.5 inch. It is powered by a 2390 mAh battery and will run on Android Lollipop out of the box.
The new Moto E has a 5MP rear camera and the company has also included the Moto Display feature in it. The device has 8GB internal storage, which is expandable to 32GB. Also check out: Moto E (2015): An Overview
Motorola had gained massive success with its high spec'd budget phones including Moto E and Moto G. However, the competition has grown tougher courtesy Xiaomi and Asus which have also launched competitive devices in that price bracket. It'll be interesting what will be the price of the LTE version of the Moto E, and how will it compete with the likes of Redmi Note 4G, Lenovo A6000 and Yu Yureka.
