Moto E pre-launch leaks: Images, specifications and rumored India pricing

Moto E hasn't been the best kept secret for Motorola, with almost confirmed specifications already being leaked, now we have images along with its India pricing doing the rounds. Here's what we know so far about the Moto E, the sub Rs. 10,000 phone.

Motorola is set to unveil its new smartphone, Moto E, on May 13. The smartphone, however, has already started to make appearances on the web ahead of its official announcement.

First set of information comes from a Brazilian retailer, which has posted a few pictures of the upcoming Motorola Moto E. The retailer has revealed specifications and other details of the smartphone as well. According to the retailer, the Moto E will follow the same looks and design pattern of the predecessor Moto G. It will also come with interchangeable multi-colour shells.

The Moto E will feature a 4.3-inch display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution, 256 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass protection. The smartphone has 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm chipset, run Android 4.4 KitKat and 5MP rear camera. For connectivity, the Moto E supports dual-SIM option, 2G and 3G with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

Motorola's upcoming smartphone measures 124.8 x 64.8 x 12.3mm and weighs 140g.

Earlier, a new listing on Zauba, an Indian import data website, revealed the pricing of the white variant of the Moto E. According to the listing, the Moto E unites have been shipped to India with each device costing Rs. 6,330. You can check out the Zauba listing here.

The Motorola Moto E had made a brief appearance via Motorola's Mexican Facebook page, which posted a picture featuring the Moto E side by side with the Moto G.

Motorola will be introducing the Moto E at an event in London on May 13. In India, Flipkart will be hosting an event on the same day to unveil the Moto E. Flipkart has already been teasing the smartphone over the social media.
