Moto C, C Plus with 5-inch display, Android Nougat now official

Lenovo has finally made its long rumoured entry-level smartphones, Moto C and Moto C Plus official. The announcement comes just a day after Motorola's 2017 product roadmap leaked online. The Moto C and C Plus are currently the most affordable smartphones from the company and will compete against other budget devices in India, although the price of the devices in the country is not yet known.
The Moto C features a 5-inch display with FWVGA resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. The handset is being powered by a quad-core MediaTek processor and offers 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The handset comes in 3G and 4G variants and supports expandable storage up to 32GB. At the back is a 5MP rear camera, while at the front is a 2MP camera. Moto C runs Android 7.0 Nougat and houses a 2350mAh battery.
The Moto C Plus offers slightly improved specifications in terms of display and battery. The handset sports a 5-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution and runs Android Nougat. Powering the device is quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and support for expandable storage up to 32GB. The dual-SIM smartphone gets an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. One of the highlights of the device is the large 4000mAh battery, which will help it compete with Xiaomi's recently introduced Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 series.
Lenovo has priced the Moto C 3G variant at €89 (around Rs. 6,300) while the 4G variant is priced at €99 (around Rs. 7,000). Moto C Plus is priced at €119 (around Rs. 8,400) and all the three models will be available in cherry, white, gold and black colour options.
