The second generation Moto 360 smartwatch is finally coming to India. The company has sent out block your date notices to the media for December 1, with the hashtag MotoTimeHack. While the invite doesn’t specifically state that the Moto 360 will be launched on that date, the round there’s a round Android Wear dial on the image, which can mean only one thing.

The second generation Moto 360 was announced at IFA, Berlin this year and retains the basic overall looks of its predecessor. Motorola though has moved the button on the watch, from a 3’o’clock to 2’o’clock position, while also making some internal changes in the device’s processing power. The device has been selling in some overseas markets for a while now, making it long overdue in India.

The original Moto 360 was launched in India last year, at a price point of around Rs. 18,000. The watch has since been made cheaper, being available at Rs. 13,999 on Flipkart at the moment. Motorola also introduced the metallic bands for the Moto 360 some time ago.

In other related news, the American smartphone company recently announced that its shatterproof Moto X Force smartphone will be launched in India soon. While no concrete dates were given, there is a chance that Motorola will announce the device alongside the Moto 360 on December 1. The Moto X series has been Motorola’s flagship series in the market, and has been widely acclaimed by critics all over the world. It includes phones like the Moto X (1st Gen), Moto X (2nd Gen), Moto X Play and Moto X Style.

The Indian market has been amongst the most important markets for Motorola, with phones like the Moto G and Moto E doing very well. The company though, has had to deal with the Chinese onslaught, from companies like Xiaomi, Meizu, OnePlus and others.
