The Moto G6 is rumoured to launch at MWC in Barcelona at the end of this month and a series of leaks have revealed quite a lot of information about the upcoming mid-range smartphone. The most recent leak by a tipster on Twitter reveals Moto’s 2018 lineup of phones.
Earlier leaks had indicated the Moto G6 will arrive in three variants — The Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and the Moto G6 Plus. Now, a leaked render of what is expected to be the Moto G6 has surfaced online that reveals the phone will have a display of 18:9 aspect ratio and a dual camera design that looks a lot like the Moto X4.

The leak also reveals Moto has quite a few offerings up its sleeve this year. All of them are upgrades to existing offerings including the Moto G6 lineup, the Moto E5, Moto X5, Moto Z3 Play and the flagship Moto Z3.
The Moto G6 Plus and the Moto G6 Play will sport a front-mounted fingerprint sensor while the Moto G6 will have a rear mounted one.
The Moto E5 will also get a fingerprint sensor while the Moto Z3 Play will have the fingerprint sensor on the side. More interestingly, the Moto Z3 and the Moto X5 will ditch the fingerprint sensor altogether and use a 3D front facing camera to bring facial recognition. The leakster revealed it’s unclear where the fingerprint sensor will be placed on these two devices.
The leakster claims the source is a Alibaba supplier.
While its all but confirmed that the Moto G6 lineup will be unveiled at MWC, there’s no news about the rest of the lineup and we suggest you take this piece with a hefty pinch of salt.
