It will be really disappointing if it eventually doesn't have the feature

Alleged images of the upcoming Apple iPhone 7 Plus have been posted on Chinese microblogging website, Weibo. The image showing the front of the device suggests that Apple may choose to stick with the home button instead of using a 3D Touch panel, but the button appears to have a more defined metallic ring around it. The left of the device shows volume buttons, but no mute switch. However, the biggest changes can be seen on the rear of the device. The images shows the dual-rear camera setup that Apple has been rumoured to include in the iPhone 7 Plus/Pro. It is also possible that the company may choose to include the feature in both models, in which case there will be three variants of the iPhone 7.

The antenna bands also appear redesigned, and there seems to be Smart Connector pins located at the bottom of the device. It is still not known what sort of accessories will be able to dock with the phone via this connector. It should also be noted that there is an empty Apple logo at the back, which still needs to be 'filled' in.

French website NowhereElse posted an image claiming to show the rear of the 4.7-inch iPhone 7. The image shows the redesigned antenna bands wrapped around the top and bottom of the phone. This design is a bit more neat than last generation iPhones. The camera lens also seems to be larger than the present unit.

However, both sets of images do not show the bottom of the device where the 3.5mm port is usually located. Rumours suggest that Apple will ditch the headphone jack and make use of the Lightning Port instead, to drive audio. However, it is possible that the company may ship the new iPhone with a regular 3.5mm to Lightning Port adapter, along with a standard set of 3.5mm EarPods, hence allowing you to make use of your standard headphones.
