Well, if you ever wondered what kind of gadgets could fit into those so called, “modular” jackets or simply “modu” jackets, then you would not be disappointed. The Modu phone is finally making buzz all over the globe, with its presence felt across Israel last year. Since then it is reportedly trying to shake up the dull mobile market with its sheer miniscule form-factor, that is apparently the size of the standard battery that charges a modern smartphone. Henceforth, the name “modu” for this phone has been reportedly inherited from the “modular” jackets, which it can slip into with absolute ease. Meanwhile, it has been reported that the modu phone has been revamped with added functionality and buttons, with a hint of extra stylish design on top. However, there is still no word on its Indian release yet.
It apparently ships with a 2GB internal memory with no further memory expansion slots. The Modu is said to be available with the night jacket option and a 3MP camera wherein the Modu itself costs about 130 pounds and a 50 pounds extra for the night jacket option. Also, it is reported that there is an 8-inch photo frame on offer which could double up as a cute little charging dock and media player. However, there is still no word on its Indian release yet.
Modu T- Phone
In a related news, it is stated that Modu 2 also known as “Modu T-Phone” – is reportedly the lightest touchscreen phone in the world, along with a Guinness certification to back it up! It is expected to ship with a 2GB internal storage along with a microSD expansion slot and is proposed to ship both in 2G and 3G models, presumably across different parts of the globe. Unfortunately, there is still no word on the release date yet.
