Microsoft Lumia 435, 532 budget smartphones unveiled

Microsoft expands its budget smartphone portfolio with two new Lumia phones – 435 and 532. The Lumia 435 is Microsoft's cheapest Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone.

Microsoft has introduced two new smartphones – Lumia 435 and Lumia 532. Microsoft is touting the Lumia 435 as its most affordable Lumia smartphone so far. It is priced at EUR 69, roughly Rs. 5,054. The Lumia 532 is being advertised as the latest quad-core smartphone with an affordable price tag, it is priced at EUR 79, roughly Rs. 5,787.

First up is the Lumia 435. The smartphone has 4-inch WVGALCD 800×480 pixels screen. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1GB of RAM. It sports 2 MP rear camera and VGA front camera.

The smartphone comes with 8GB  along with up to 30GB free OneDrive and micro SD up to 128GB storages. Check out full specifications of the Lumia 435 here.

The Microsoft Lumia 435 and Lumia 435 Dual-SIM will be available in February in select countries in Europe, India, the Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East.

The Lumia 532 has a 4-inch WVGA (800 x 480) display. It runs Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Denim and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 200 processor along with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with 5MP rear camera and VGA 0.3 MP front facing camera.

The smartphone comes with 8GB internal mass memory + up to 30GB free OneDrive, micro SD up to 128GB. Check out full specifications of the Lumia 532 here.

The Lumia 532 will begin rolling out in Europe, APAC and IMEA in February.
