CES and MWC are approaching quickly which means that there will soon be a number of leaks and rumours to look forward to. One of the first leaks comes from Microsoft, and we are hearing that the company is now working on a smartphone which may be a lower version of the Lumia 535.
Rumoured to be branded as the Lumia 435, the new smartphone is expected to be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 chipset along with a 4-inch WVGA (800×480) display with 235ppi pixel density, a 5MP main camera and, as we have seen with low-end Lumia devices, there will be both a single-SIM and a dual-SIM variant of the device.
According to the FCC, the Microsoft Lumia 435 will have a BV-5J battery which will be exclusive to the model. Recently India based website Zauba posted a shipment of ten BV-5J cells for inter-company use only and on the same day, a shipment of ten dual-SIM smartphones was shipped into India, valued at $57 (Rs. 4000 approx) each. This could mean that the upcoming smartphone is already under testing and could be launched pretty soon. We expect that Microsoft will announce the Lumia 435 along with the previously leaked flagship camera smartphone, the Lumia 1030, soon at CES or MWC next year.
