Micromax has launched the Canvas Spark 2 Plus, its first smartphone to run Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box. The device is priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be available for purchase via Snapdeal from April 22. The phone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core SoC with 1GB of RAM. The phone is equipped with 8GB of onboard storage and a 2000mAh battery. At the back of the device is a 5MP primary camera with a flash, while at the front is a 2MP camera. The Spark 2 Plus supports 3G connectivity and come preloaded with 10 regional languages. Additionally, the device will be available in Metallic Grey, Copper Gold, and Champagne Gold colour variants
Earlier this month, Micromax hosted an event where it unveiled a new logo and 15 new phones including the Canvas Spark 2 Plus. The company also launched two new flagship devices during the event, namely the Canvas 6 and Canvas 6 Pro. Both phones come with a 5.5-inch Full HD displays and are powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. The Canvas 6 comes with 3GB of RAM and is the first first phone from Micromax to come with a metal unibody design and a fingerprint sensor. The device also offers 32GB of storage along with a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera. The Canvas 6 Pro offers users 4GB of RAM along with 16GB of storage. Both are priced at Rs. 13,999.
