Micromax launches Android-based ‘A45 Punk’ at Rs. 5,499

Micromax has launched another smartphone under its Ninja series, Micromoax A45 Punk. The new Micromax smartphone runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system and features voice recognition app, AISHA . The A45 Punk is available via Ncarry.com for Rs. 5,499.

The Micromax A45 Punk has 3.5-inch multi-touch capacitative touch screen. Its predecessor Ninja A50 had a 3-inch touch display. The A45 Punk is powered by a 650MHz processor. The device also features a 2MP camera. It has 180MB built-in storage. For connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and USB 2.0.

The Micromax A45 Punk comes with a 1,300mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 4.5 hours of talktime and 167 hours standby time. The device comes pre-loaded with various applications such as Mibuddy, Facebook, Mstore, Whatsapp and many others from Google Play store.

Micromax has partnered with Ncarry.com, which is also offering a stereo Bluetooth headband free with the phone The superfone A45 Punk is available in two colours – white and black. The A45 is yet another budget smartphone from Micromax. The Indian manufacturer has already launched various smartphones under 10k, giving tough competition to other manufacturers including Samsung and Nokia.
