Micromax introduces X44 Bling at Rs. 3,000

Micromax has expanded its Bling series with the launch of the X44 Bling. Studded with Swarovski Zirconia diamonds, the Micromax X44 Bling has been priced at Rs. 3,000. Micromax has previously launched two Bling phones including an Android-based smartphone.

The Micromax X44 Bling is a dual-SIM feature phone with 114mm X 48mm X 12mm dimensions. It features a 2.2-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, FM radio, Bluetooth, and app stores M! Zone and M! Store.

The phone has 256MB of RAM and 512 MB of built-in storage, expandable up to 8GB via microSD card. The device comes with a 950 mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talktime and 248 hours of standby time.

As said before, Micromax has launched two Bling phones in the past. The first Bling was the Q55 Bling, featuring dual-SIM capabilities, a QWERTY slider, a 2.4-inch QVGA display and an 850mAh battery. The Micromax Bling Q55 is available via online stores at Rs. 3,030.

The second Bling, called Bling 2 was launched in May last year. The Micromax Bling 2 runs on the Android 2.2 Froyo OS, and features a 600MHz processor, 3G (WCDMA) connectivity, a 7.1cm capacitive touchscreen, a 3MP camera, Wi-Fi/GPS/Bluetooth connectivity, expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Micromax has of late launched quite a few budget Android smartphones and one solar phone called X259. Priced at Rs. 2,499, the Micromax solar phone features a 2.4-inch display and a 1,000 mAh battery.
