Micromax Evok Dual Note launched with dual camera setup and Android Nougat at Rs 9,999

Micromax Evok Dual Note, the third smartphone in the company's Evok series has been launched exclusively on Flipkart. The handset will go on its first sale on August 22 and is priced at Rs 9,999. As part of the launch, Micromax Evok Dual Note buyers get up to Rs 11,000 off on exchange and SBI credit card users can get the device on EMI of Rs 1,667 per month. Telecom service provider Idea Cellular is offering 84GB data with no daily limit and unlimited calling at Rs 443 for three months.

Micromax Evok is a new series from the homegrown smartphone maker that uses Flipkart's insights for development. The first two devices in this series were Evok Note and Evok Power. The new Evok Dual Note follows with dual rear camera system and budget pricing as its biggest selling point.

The Micromax Evok Dual Note features a combination of 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera setup with Sony's IMX258 sensors. The handset also sports a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, 78-degree wide-angle lens and soft light for nature images. The cameras also offer software features like refocus, beauty mode, panorama shot, and filters.

The Evok Dual Note sports a curved metal back and 5.5-inch full HD display. The smartphone is powered by octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset and comes with two different storage options: 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants with 32GB standard storage. The handset features a front mounted fingerprint sensor and runs Android 7.0 Nougat. Micromax's Evok Dual Note is backed by a 3000mAh battery and uses USB Type-C port for charging. The handset supports 4G LTE and will be available in gold and blue colour options. The handset will compete with similarly priced Xiaomi's best-selling Redmi Note 4 smartphone.
