Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 octa-core phone launched at Rs. 12,990
Competition in the budget smartphone segment further heats up as Micromax launches its new Canvas Nitro A310.
Micromax has officially unveiled a new smartphone – Canvas Nitro A310. Priced at Rs. 12,990, the new Canvas Nitro smartphone is exclusively available via e-commerce site Snapdeal.
The Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 has a 5-inch 720p IPS display. It runs Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek processor along with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone has 13MP rear camera and 5MP front facing camera. The Canvas Nitro has 8GB of ROM and supports expandable storage via microSD.
In terms of connectivity, the Canvas Nitro A310 supports dual-SIM connectivity, 3G, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. It is powered by a 2,500 mAh battery. The smartphone is available in two colour options – black and blue.
The new Micromax Canvas Nitro is apparently targeted at the budget smartphone segment which has of late seen an intense competition. Recently, Motorola launched its Moto G second generation. Priced at Rs. 12,999, the Moto G second generation features 5-inch display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and 8MP camera.
Another smartphone that had taken the budget segment by storm is the Xiaomi Mi 3. Priced at Rs. 13,999, the smartphone features 5-inch full HD display, 13MP camera, quad-core processor and 3050 mAh battery.
