Micromax Canvas 5 A350 with octa-core processor and full HD display rumoured

Micromax may be among the first brands in India to roll out octa-core smartphones. The rumoured Canvas 5 A350 has made an appearance on the web with Antutu benchmark scores.

Is Micromax working on an octa-core smartphone? An unannounced Micromax smartphone – dubbed Canvas 5 A350 – has made an appearance on the web with Antutu benchmark scores.

The Micromax smartphone has scores of 26886, which is higher than the Samsung Galaxy S4 (26147) and the HTC One (26556). The A350 is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. Other rumoured specs of the device include a full HD display and 2GB of RAM. More information isn’t available yet.

Recently, Intex launched an octa-core smartphone, Aqua Octa. The Intex smartphone features 6-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD OGS (One-Glass Solution) IPS display, dual-SIM (GSM GSM) capability, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, MediaTek’s MT6592 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage.

iBerry has introduced Auxus CoreX8 3G octa-core tablet, which features Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa‐Core 28nm processor with a tri‐core PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU.
