Micromax Bharat 5 Plus 4G smartphone with 5000mAh battery, 8MP rear camera quietly listed on company’s website

Micromax has not revealed the price of the Bharat 5 Plus smartphone, which is powered by a 1.3GHz processor and 2GB of RAM.

Micromax has quietly listed its upcoming Bharat 5 Plus smartphone on their website. It is the successor to the Bharat 5, which was launched on December 1, 2017. The highlight of the new smartphone is its 5000mAh battery, which doubles up as a powerbank for charging other devices and the company claims that it comes with 21 days of standby time. Micromax has not revealed the price or launch date for the smartphone. 

Talking about the specifications, the Micromax Bharat 5 Plus features a 5.2-inch HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 2GB of RAM. The smartphone sports 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. In terms of camera, the device comes with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. 

Micromax had announced that they will soon be launching a Plus and Pro variant of its Bharat 5 smartphone. To recall, the Bharat 5 is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. It features 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via a microSD card. It sports a 5.2-inch HD display with a 1280 x 720p resolution and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, backed by a 5000mAh battery. In terms of camera, the smartphone comes with a 5MP sensor and an LED flash for both the front and rear camera setup.
