Micromax has launched two new smartphones under its Bharat series, the Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4. The devices are aimed at the entry-level smartphone segment. The Bharat 3 is priced at Rs 4,499, whereas the Bharat 4 priced at Rs 4,999. Both the smartphones are dual-SIM devices featuring support for 22 Indian regional languages and a Smart Button. They both run on Android 7.0 Nougat and are VoLTE enabled.
Both the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 are powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 Quad-core processor. The Bharat 3 sports a 4.5-Inch display, while the Bharat 4 features a 5-Inch 2.5D screen. Both the smartphones feature a Smart Key which allows users to click pictures, take screenshots, and switch the phone into silent mode. The Bharat 3 sports a 2MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera, whereas both the rear and front cameras on the Bharat 4 sport a 5MP sensor. The smartphones come with 1GB RAM coupled with 8GB of internal storage and are available online as well as offline.
Micromax has also listed another smartphone, the Bharat 2 Plus on its website. The smartphone features a 4-inch WVGA TFT display and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. The Bharat 2 Plus sports a bar design and features a 5MP rear camera along with a 2MP front-facing camera. The device sports 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Similar to the Bharat 3 and Bharat 4, the Bharat 2 Plus is a dual SIM device and supports GPS, HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and WAP. There is no word on the pricing of Bharat 2 Plus just yet.
