Micromax has introduced yet another dual-SIM budget Android smartphone – Micromax A25 Smarty. The new Micromax smartphone is available for purchase via online retailers such as Saholic at Rs. 3,899.
In terms of specifications, the Micromax A25 Smarty supports dual-SIM (GSM GSM) with dual standby. The device runs on Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread operating system and is powered by a 1GHz processor.
Other specifications of the A25 Smarty include 2.8-inch touch display with 240 x 320 pixels resolution, 1.3MP fixed focus camera, 256MB of RAM, 120MB built-in storage, 32GB expandable storage via micro SD, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. For connectivity, the device supports 2G, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Micro USB. The device comes with a 1,280mAh battery, which is rated to deliver 4 hours of talktime and up to 7 days of standby time.
With the new A25 Smarty, Micromax has bolstered its offering in the budget smartphone segment. The company has been on a launch spree of late with back to back to launch of budget smartphones namely A87 Ninja 4, A57 Superfone Ninja 3 and Elite A84.
Micromax has also been eying the budget tablet market, especially after the successful run with the Funbook tablet. The company has now more two more tablets to offer – Funbook Pro and Funbook Alpha.
