Micromax is reportedly going to launch a new Android smartphone in the market. Dubbed as the Micromax A200, the smartphone is expected to be a mid-range handset with a quad-core processor.
Information about Micromax’s forthcoming smartphone comes from @MMXNewscaster, which claims the smartphone will have a 4.7-inch 720p HD display with Gorilla Glass 2 . It will be powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM. It will have 4GB of ROM. The smartphone will measure 7.9mm in terms of thickness.
According to @MMXNewscaster, the Micromax A200 will sport a 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera. It will be powered by an 1,800 mAh battery.
There’s no word on the availability of the smartphone.
Earlier, Micromax had launched the Canvas A116i with similar set of specifications. Available online for approximately Rs.12,090, the Canvas A116i runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, 5-inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 8MP rear camera.
Micromax in coordination with MTS India launched the Canvas Blaze, featuring 5-inch display, dual-SIM support and 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset.
