The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset has been in talks for some time now as the latest flagship chipset by the company. What has also been in talks is MediaTek’s flagship chipset that will directly compete with the Snapdragon one. And now the chipset called the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 is ready. It succeeds the previous Mediatek 9200 chipset. The company calls it the most powerful flagship chipset to date. Read along to find out more details about it.
MediaTek Dimensity 9300 specifications
To begin with, the new chipset by MediaTek has an octa-core setup and is based on the third-generation 4nm process. It is being said that this is the first chip to include all big cores for enhanced performance. The chipset includes four Arm Cortex-X4 cores with up to 3.25GHz clock speed and four Cortex-A720 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz. This gives it a slight upper hand as its competitor, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, only has a clocking speed of 3.3GHz. The chipset comes with Wi-Fi 7 and a 5G R16 modem.
